Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) provides inter-site high-availability between data centers and completes the application delivery solution of the Equalizer E650GX. EnvoyTM is the E650GX ‘s Global Server Load-Balancing engine. Envoy directs traffic across multiple data centers according to business-defined policies matched against real-time performance and availability metrics gathered from each data center. Envoy’s sophisticated Geographic Query Protocol creates fine-grained, wide-area redirection for every client request without adding connection latency. As with all Equalizer appliances redundant failover is fully supported with a secondary Equalizer so you’ll be up and running all day, every day. It’s all completely under your control.
