The Post Group Chooses MRV’s TereScope Free Space Optics for Transport of Feature Length Films and Television Shows.
The Post Group, an entertainment post-production company, has chosen MRV TereScope® 10GE Free Space Optics (FSO) solution and has become the first announced customer of the industry’s only 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) wireless networking system.
The TereScope 10GE is a wireless 10 Gigabit Ethernet FSO system, that delivers cost-effective and high-bandwidth wireless backbone network extension between multiple buildings without a need for rights-of-way or a fiber-optic cable plant. The TereScope 10GE enables the delivery of Ethernet private line (EPL), service as defined by the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) at full 10 Gbps line rate in addition to other fractional speeds.
