RAD’s versatile multiservice access nodes groom, aggregate and cross connect multiple services, including voice, ISDN, high/low speed data, and Ethernet over fiber optic, wireline, xDSL or wireless. The Megaplex line of multiservice multiplexers feature a wide range of capabilities, including SDH/SONET ADM functionality, voice compression and flexible cross connect capacities, as well as Ethernet capabilities for seamless migration to NGN. The Megaplex multiservice access nodes and multiplexers fit carriers’ voice and data service delivery needs to small businesses and large organizations as well as address utility and transportation companies’ requirements for handling critical applications, such as SCADA, Teleprotection and omnibus with TDM and SDH/SONET quality of service.
